During your sign up, we attempt to verify your information through a third party. If we are unable to successfully verify your identity automatically, you will need to supply additional information so that we can complete the process.
Note that even if you did not complete the automated identity verification during your initial sign up, you may still be able to complete it using our automated process. Make sure you are logged out of BitRail, and then Log in again and follow the instructions on the screen.
If you are still not able to complete the automated verification, or prefer to send us documentation instead, please send us one document from each of the two categories below:
Government Photo ID: a copy of a valid government photo ID, including name, address, and date of birth.
Recent Utility Bill/PayStub: A copy of a recent bill showing the billing date, your name, and address (not a PO Box). This may be a utility bill (electric, gas, cable, internet), pay stub, mobile phone bill, or similar.
Please black out any sensitive information (for example: account numbers, social security number or username). We need to be able to only verify your name, current address, and date of birth.
Please send your documents to our Customer Support.
Note: if you can successfully complete your identity verification using the automated process, you do not need to send us documentation for manual verification.
