If you received an email from BitRail saying that additional verification is required during your signup, this means that we must verify your identity to provide a trusted and secure platform for your transactions.
During your sign up, we attempt to verify your information through a third party. If we are unable to successfully verify your identity automatically, you will need to supply additional information so that we can complete the process.
You will need to send us two documents:
Government Photo ID
A copy of a valid government photo ID, including name, address, and date of birth.
Recent Utility Bill/PayStub
A copy of a recent bill showing the billing date, your name, and address. This may be a utility bills (electric, gas, cable, internet), pay stub, mobile phone bill, or similar.
Please black out any sensitive information (ex: account numbers, social security number or usernames). We need to be able to only verify your name, current address, and birth date.
